As a travel enthusiast from the United States, my stay at Primrose Cottage in Tideswell was absolutely charming. the lovely little cottage had a homely feel with all the amenities one could need - from a fully equipped kitchen to fluffy white towels and complimentary breakfast cereals. the garden views were a welcome sight, and the free WiFi made it easy to stay connected. Being just 45 km away from Manchester Airport, the location was perfect for us. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful village of Litton nearby, with its quaint pub and community shop. the short walk to Tideswell through the rolling hills was a delightful experience, with the stunning church and welcoming pub awaiting us on arrival. the small touches like free toiletries and a well-stocked kitchen made us feel right at home. Overall, our weekend getaway for country walks with our dog was a success thanks to the cozy atmosphere and prime location of this little gem in the Peak District. A definite recommendation for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the heart of the English countryside.
